1. Program Introduction
The Chinese Language Program serves to promote the Chinese language learning throughout the world and to help people in other countries acquire a better understand of China. The academic year is divided into two semester, Spring (from Mid-February to the end of June) and Autumn (from early September to mid- January). Each semester consists of 18 weeks with 22 weekly class hours. The exact date changes slightly year by year.
Students will be divided into the following three classes on the basis of their Chinese proficiency.

2. Required Qualification of Applicants
Any foreigner having a formal education background at high school level or above with good health and personality and aged 18 - 60.
3. Application Procedure
Application can be made through both of the following two approaches.
Online Application
Visit the official website of the International Education College, Guangxi University, sign up and log in at the Online Application System(linkage: /templates/en/studentlogin.aspx ).
Fill in the online application form and upload the following materials as attachment.
A:Passport scanned
B:Health Certificate scanned
C: If the applicant has studied in China before, he or she should provide the scanned study certificate or school transfer certificate issued by the previous school.
On-site (Offline ) Application
Applicants may also directly come to the Admission Office of the International Education College, Guangxi University to make physical application with the following materials.
A:Passport photocopied
B:Health Certificate photocopied
C: If the applicant has studied in China before, he or she should provide the photocopied study certificate or school transfer certificate issued by the previous school.
4. Admission and Registration
The International Education College will scrutinize the application and submit it to the authority. As soon as the application gets approved, the College will mail the Admission letter and Visa application form to the applicant by express service.
The admitted students can arrive at the University and get registered on from 6 to 30 September 2017. Students shall be responsible for the consequence of advanced or delayed arrival.
5. Costs (charged after arriving at GXU)
Application Fee: 200 CNY
